I know last week I said that I was finished decorating but well inspiration struck and I guess that makes me a fibber. It started with a big box and an idea. The idea was that even though we don't have a Christmas Tree this year, we could still have wrapped presents. The only problem with that idea is that I am not one of those people who has all their Christmas shopping done in November and it wouldn't be Christmas Eve if I were not in a last minute panic to get everything wrapped.
So I decided to wrap an empty box for the cats. Cats love empty boxes after all.
But if you know me at all, you know that while I do sometimes like moderation, more often than not I like to take things over the top. So if one box is good than six boxes is better. Right? At first it was only going to be four boxes but they didn't really fit together so I added a middle piece. It is built in three sections for easier storage. That is assuming that the Dogzilla's don't destroy it before the season is over. :-)
The supplies needed are a few different sized boxes, some leftover wrapping paper and ribbon and a hole lot of packing tape.
Step one is to have the mad caped design in your head.
Step two: Tape the boxes closed and cut the holes in the appropriate places.
Step three: Wrap the boxes. This is trickier than it sounds with the holes cut in the boxes. :-)
Step four: Cut holes in wrapping paper and tape to inside of box.
Step five: Tape boxes together.
Step six: Assemble pieces and await the loving and appreciative accolades from the cats.
Happy Holidays,
